The Specialized S-Works Ares road bike shoe features an all-new closure system, a wrap-around tongue-less liner reinforced with Dyneema® and an ultra-rigid FACT PowerlineTM carbon outsole.

These new features eliminate foot rotation in the shoe, reduce strain on the tendons and transfer every watt of power to the pedals for unprecedented performance and comfort.

• The closure system locks the foot during extreme efforts while dancing, blocking the front of the foot and preventing its lateral rotation.
• Dyneema® is trapped between synthetic and TPU layers to create non-stretch areas for a perfect connection and supreme comfort.
• Our FACT PowerlineTM carbon sole, the stiffest and lightest in our range, optimizes power transfer: stiffness index 15.
• BOA® Li2 independent tightening system allowing micro-adjustment while riding. Benefit from the BOA® guarantee.
• PadLockTM technology maintains the heel perfectly and improves its support under acceleration.
• Non-slip and replaceable heel pad with screws integrated into the sole.
• Form Fit footwear with a spacious forefoot for a perfect connection and supreme comfort.
• The titanium alloy cleat nuts pivot, allowing the cleat to be offset 5mm rearward.
